Hi all im new to this forum and have recently bought a 307 2 litre 2002 HDi GLX and wondered how i tell what HP engine it is (90 or 110) and how i could find out ? Thanks Bobster...

Easiest way is to look on the logbook, where it will say "HDi(90)" or "HDi(110)" in the model desginator.

Failing that, lift the bonnet - if there's no intercooler, it's the 90.

The 110 wasn't a terribly popular unit in the 307, so it's odds on to be a 90 I would have thought.

Or there will be a white sticker stuck to the centre pillar on the drivers side, visible with drivers door open :thumb:

Or the words 'HDi110' in chrome lettering on the acoustic cover atop the engine on the later cars (the 90 just says 'HDi').

^ i never knew it said it there as well!

Learn something everyday! True if that cover is anything like mine it will be absent anyway :lol: them rubber turret things are useless!!
