Hello Good people,

I was wondering could someone help me out here, clutch in my 2010 Peugeot 3008 died yesterday...

I was quoted that the new clutch kit will cost me 735 euro and an additional 200 for the work.

I spend some time online and I found Clutch kits that are much much cheaper than what shop quoted me. I managed to narrow down my selection to 2x options either:

LuK 600 0297 00 Clutch Kit: LuK Clutch Kit 600 0297 00 – Clutch kit for your vehicle at bargain prices online

or

LuK 600 0300 00 Clutch Kit: LuK Clutch Kit 600 0300 00 – Clutch kit for your vehicle at bargain prices online

These kits are identical except "Central Slave Cylinder, clutch" is there any way to find out which one I need without actually taking the gearbox apart and looking inside?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Just look at bell housing you should either see an external slave cylinder or the clutch pipe connecting to a spigot on the gearbox. You may find the garage has factored in replacing the DMF (if fitted)
