Hey everybody,

I own a Peugeot 406 ST 1.8 16V (1997)

Recently I bought the 16 inch Peugeot Ariane aluminum wheels, but I seem to be needing longer bolts.

The standard measures:

4 x 108
14 INCH
J 5,5
ET 18

Ariana Rims:

4 x 108
16 INCH
J 6,5
ET 31

I know the maximum variety on the original ET value is 5, so I’m gonna be needing spacers too. (So I really need longer bolts!)

So with the spacers and the bigger rims, is this even possible? And if so, how do I work out this mathematical disaster?

These rims are originally from a 307, but they look amazing on my 406 and fill up the space perfectly.

Please Help! I don’t want to have to sell these beautiful rims again.

You dont need longer bolts you need the CORRECT alloy bolts.
I got a few mechanics in my circle and they all said the same, but no one was able to show me where to get them of what’s the real difference. Usually I’d say ‘google knows’, but it doesn’t really show me what I need.

Peugeot ALLOY wheel bolts are different to peugeot steel wheel bolts you just need wheel bolts for alloy wheels.

You MIGHT need spacers on the front to clear the struts not sure we have a set of those wheels but not tried them on a 406.
