Wheel bearing issue

Evening folks

I replaced the the front offside wheel bearing a few weeks ago but car gone for MOT and its failed because of excessive movement.

So today I took it all apart again and bearing looked as if it had gone so replaced it being careful to press in the bearing correctly using the outer casing. Looked tight and good

Put it all together and when the disc is back on there is still movement!

ANyone got any ideas of what to look at next?

if the driveshaft nut up to spec tightness. i had this when checking one of mine before mot did some work and didnt tighten very well. alls well now

I torqued it up and still movement so don't think it's that unfortunately

Either wrong bearings or worn stub axle ??

Sure the movement is in the bearing?
Jack the car up & get someone to apply the footbrake whilst you rock the wheel with your hands at 12 & 6 o'clock.
If there's movement with the footbrake on it's in the suspension.

did you check depth of bearing I had one short and nut came to end of thread so still loose but I put extra washer to take up slack
