Hello, I have Peugeot 307 HDi 2,0 66kw. And I don't realise what is the purpose of this part? In gasoline Peugeot such act opens and closes butterfly valve. In diesel I treid to spin this part but nothin happend. So for what reason it is it?

Not seen one of them before. Looks like a cable linkage of some sort.

Do you have an auto box or are you in another country by any chance?

No gearbox is manual. I am from Lithuania. When I bought this car it was used an it was bought from France.

I don't understand. Diesels dont have throtle body. air intake are "clearly" threre arent any vacuum that is created because of throtle valve. When you put a gas pedal on a diesel only fuel is spraied more( air mas is the same) if it isnt a turbo.

Yea if you turn it clockwise whilst the engine is running you can manually rev it. Quite useful for when you are working on noise or fault under the bonnet!

The accelerator is controlled with a cable from the pedal, then electronically controlled from that unit onwards, i believe its a potentiometer but i may stand corrected :)
