What is the normal operating temperature for the 1.6 HDI 92 5 speed manual 308?

My 2008 207SW with that engine always shows about 90° but I don't know how correct the gauge indication is. It's not a sophisticated bit of kit after all. If the car runs reliably I guess you should only worry when the gauge starts to show a different temp.
