New Discs and pads all round.
New wheel bearings in the back.
Replaced heater control panel.
Reversed a bodge job on heater fan wiring and soldered in new resistor.
Replaced a missing parcel shelf.
Sorted dodgy rear wiper motor.
Replaced #3 injector.
New egr valve.
Oil + filter, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter.
Stripped out entire interior to dry out a leak, fixed scuttle panel properly to windscreen.
Fitted new pioneer deck with bluetooth, old cd player was knackered.
Fitted an armster armrest.
Valeted.

Today I de-tarred the body and wheels, used kerosene soaked rags, washed off with autoglym. Bought some touch up paint for tomorrow. Will polish after doing some touch-ups. I'm also bidding on a cruise control stalk.

Still to do - Take off head due snapped glow plugs, going to get the head re-conditioned by a pro, stem seals, clearances, sort glow plugs, cleaned up and skimmed. When the head is sorted and back on the car i'll do timing belt and water pump.

This 2005 car needed some work to bring it in line, I got it cheap enough though. Its not even mine, its the missus'.

Fitting genuine Peugeot roof bars

Last few weekends I've taken all door handles off, primed and resprayed, makes a massive difference.

Next up is ordering new disks and pads and fitting an alarm. Do love working on this car. I think so far with all i've done above, the roof bars were the most expensive at £30. The exhaust was an absolute bargain. Euro did a 50% off sale but even better a 25% off code worked. To good to not get it.

Fitted this.
And just changed the dipped beam bulbs as one had failed. Now using Philips X-treme Vision. Don't know what they are like just yet as it gets dark around 10:45ish here and I have not had an opportunity since fitting to go out. (that was yesterday).

And yes I have just gone over the 200000kms; not so much for a 10 year old car.

I have the car about 4 months.

Discs, pads and bearings were about €220
Heater fan control panel €35 from scrappy
Fan resistor €15 from ebay.
Parcel shelf €50 from scrappy (I got robbed)
2nd hand injector €65 from ebay. washer and protector and return seals from dealer.
Egr valve €60 from GSF (genuine peugeot too)
Total oil and filter + air filter, pollen filter, about €80 from dealer.
Fram fuel filter €30 from motor factors.
Armster armrest just had it spare but 307 adaptor was €35
Pioneer deck was spare aswell.
Also fitted new pipe between air mass meter and turbo, €40 from dealer.
Hope to get cruise stalk for about €45
Head recon will be about €120 including stem seals.

Timing kit €80 GSF, Head gasket €45 GSF, Glow plugs €30 GSF, have these ready to go.

It needs a new comms unit aswell about €200 on ebay.

Having a (almost) functioning pug.... PRICELESS

You lot have some troublesome cars.

My car, needs nothing doing :)

Although my MOT is up next Monday.
Mine has been mostly repairing the mess the previous driver hadn't bothered to do and mostly cosmetic work. Touch wood, nothing serious.
