well i was initially looking for the relay for the wiper motor (medium and fast wipe all good but intermittant and wash wipe not and they dont park at bottom of windscreen only stop where i stop the stalk, replaced stalk so ?)

and ended up checking fuses

and opened up a can of worms instead
i love being inquisitive..

 

Wipers staying up on screen is always the wiper motor on the 306. They give loads of trouble.

I've just done a replacement wiper motor on my 306. Take out the wiper motor, unscrew the inspection plate off the assembly and you'll see three metal prongs.

I'm betting one of those has corroded away.

uprated clutch

since im 'here'

i have increased torque and power on my expert

is there a clutch from another van/vehicle that would be stronger than standard item that would be a good replacement?

as im sure that would be cheaper than an uprated/performance clutch?
