Hey,
I've only had my 307s (2004) only a month and it's my first one I've owned, it's great but there's a weird sound when I change gear and then put my foot back on to pedal to accelerate, there's like a whooshing hissing (hard to explain the sound) sound, it also happens when I pump the accelerator, this happens from cold but as I drive longer it kinda goes away but it's still there.
Any help would be great
Thanks

I kinda hope you are refering to the turbo now;)

In all seriousness, naturally aspirated engines makes a surprising amount of sound simply sucking air into the engine. Maybe some of the plastic from the main intake to the manifold has come loose?

So i need to look under the car to see if there's something loose, is that where the turbo is?

You do NOT have a turbo unless diesel

1.6 16 valve petrol engine is not turbocharged

1.6 DIESEL has turbo at front 2 litre diesel has turbo on rear of engine
