Hi guys, when I bought the first 407, it lost a ton of water on every journey and had no heating.

I recently fixed the thermostat which has cured the water loss, but now even with the heating set at "minimum" it blows lukewarm air meaning I usually have to have the vents closed...

I did read somewhere about a common fault with heating flaps... but is this an easy fix?

heater flaps

Hi danny the heater flaps are well documented on here some people have taken the dash out to get at the heater box and others have cut the side out of the heater box if you put in a search for heater flaps you will be able to decide which route you take.Hope this helps you decide which way to go.Good luck pete407sw:thumb:.

I was tought to have the heating control set to on/hot/open when replenishing the water system , and as mentioned in a previous post it hopefully only needs bleeding.
