Hi, I have a problem with a 206 2.0 hdi. The windscreen washer for the front window will not spray water and the window wipers will not operate in this function ( they work perfectly in all other respects! ) I have changed the pump and also the controls on steering column, everything else is fine but need to get sorted as mot is two weeks awway, thanks for any help.

What year car? The electrical system changes in [late, IIRC] 2001

Given that the wipers also aren't triggered as you [try to] activate wash I'd suspect the problem to be somewhere central. If the newer electrical system, I'd suspect the BSI, or the stalk not getting the signal to the BSI.

Does the rear wash/wipe work?
