Hi,

I've had some problems with the radio on the original stereo in my -07 307.
Due to this i mounted an aftermarket stereo.

Now to the real issue of my post:
I needed the battery from the Peugeot to start up another car and when I reconnected the batteri in the 307 I found that the date/time and language was reset.
Since it can only(?) be adjusted using the original stereo, I reconnected the old stereo to correct the settings.
But when I tried this I cannot reach the menu after all.
When I press the MENU button the display shows CONFIG VEHIC and I cannot move around in the menu. It is just stuck.
Has anyone experienced the same thing?

When browsing for answers I came across the "3-minute rule" and the somewhat complicated procedure for removing the battery on Peugeots. As I did not know this before borrowing the battery I did not do this correctly.
Could that be the reason for my problem today?

Thankful for any input!

Regards,
Patrik

If your car still starts then the 3 minute rule is not your issue but a BSI reset might get the radio resynced with the car to enable clock setting

You do not have to follow the 3 minute rule to the letter just reboot by disconnecting after 3 mins and then reconnect and leave 3 mins no need for the dancing on the roof switching on lights with your left toe through the open window :)
