Hi, having a few problems with an airbag light after removing seats and have an MOT tomorrow morning. Airbag light on, message on display and 2 beeps.
The connectors broke getting them off so removed them and hardwired the seat airbags in today, only still the same problem. Nothing else has been disturbed other than these and the battery was disconnected before hand.
I have checked both airbags and passenger side has continuity and reading 2.2 Ohms the driver side also has continuity and reading 2.0 Ohms.
When i check the other end of the cables there is no continuity back to the BCM or control module which ever they go to?
Does anyone have any experience with this as i don't have access to any diag equipment at the moment? What is the most likely cause of the problem?
