Please can someone urgently direct me on the following issue re my 206 1.4 5 dr re emissions. She failed her NCT equivalent to your MOT today on emissions as follows
1. Low Idle C0 2.47 vol% it should be above 0.30%

2. Lambada 0.84 which should be not between 0.97 & 1.03.

3. High Idle
2710 rpm CO 5.70 Vol% should be above 0.20%
HC 292 ppm above 200ppm
Can anyone of technical knowledge please direct where the issue lies etc.
I thank you in anticipation of of your direction on the matter.
Regards John

This is my rule of thumb reference for emission failures I have bolded where your reading fall on the list

CO high, CO2 low, HC high, O2 high - rich mixture with ignition misfire
CO high, CO2 low, HC high, 02 low - faulty thermostat or coolant sensor
CO low, CO2 low, HC low, O2 high - exhaust leak after the cat
CO low, CO2 high, HC low, O2 high - injector misfire, cat OK
CO high, CO2 low, HC medium to low, O2 high - rich mixture
CO high, CO2 high, HC high, O2 high - injector misfire, cat not working, combination of rich mixture and vacuum leak
CO low, CO2 low, HC high, O2 high - ignition misfire, lean mixture, vac or air leak between air flow sensor and throttle body
CO low, CO2 high, HC low, O2 low - good AFR and cat operation - system normal

HC <200ppm
CO <0.30%
Lambda (-02) 0.970-1.030 (+02)
C02 typical value 14-16%
02 no more than 1.0 to 1.5%
