On my 307 1.4 HDi 2002 there is an unused plug that is stored on the back side of the inlet pipe. It is three pinned and blue in colour. Any idea what it is used for on engines that it fits?
Whilst on the subject of these plugs is there an accepted standard that all the manufacturers abide by or do they all have there own. For example will all 3 pin plugs be coloured blue like this one or does the colour denote the system it fits?
If so I am trying to source the male plug of the clutch switch on my car so that I can make a slave input to check the switch operation as access is nigh on impossible. It is a two pin rectangular plug in in yellow?

Its probably for a boost sensor for the more powerful versions

There is no standard colour scheme for plugs or wiring there may be some logic to it but there will always be exceptions temp sensors for example are usually green but they can be blue or indeed grey :)
