Chaps,

Can someone who has a new/nearly new 308 GT with 18 inch rims tell me what tyre the car comes with from the factory please?

Cheers

Yes I have Michelin Pilot Sport 3. Have you looked closely inside the tread and noticed any cracks. Seems to be a problem with these tyres which I would not expect on Michelin with only 14,000 tyres. I only noticed this as I was looking to at soon to replace the front ones and reports on the internet. Its a bit worrying but common on these tyres. I have 2.5mm left and was wonder to go for another brand or are the pilot 4 better and do not suffer from this problem?

Thanks for the reply's guys, much appreciated.

The purpose of my original post was to find out what tyre was used as OEM so I could replace my existing budget tyres with it.

However.....

Having done as much homework as possible, I replaced all four tyres with Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance and can honestly say they are superb. Grip in the dry AND the wet is brilliant, rolling resistance is low and they are one of the quietest tyres in production today.

Additionally, they are a very balanced tyre thus creating a very smooth drive.

Not the cheapest but I thoroughly recommend.
