ive just had my back tyres reseated on the rim
and a week later it keeps telling me
ive got a puncture
is there anyone in the north lincs area ( scunthorpe )
who would disable this warning for me :thumb:
as an ex tyre fitter i know of a few tricks they do if they have broke the sensor valve, the main one is to tape or glue it to the wheel of the rim so the signal is still picked up by the car, but also if you have alloy wheels you may be leaking round the rim, or the wheel may be porrous and allowing a loss of pressure. easy way to check is to make a very soapy mix of washing up liquid and water and pour over a slightly over inflated rim, and watch for bubbles. best way to make the mix i found is to mix with hot water and leave out side to get really cold, found loads of missed punctures on trucks and plant machines this way.
