I have a 2007 307 with 205/55 R16 tyres

I need to replace the front tyres and have been offered

Kumho KH17 or Pirelli P6000

both at the same price - anyone recommendations?

I personally would put Kuhmo's on mine, mainly because I've had them before and they're a decent tyre. I'm sure one of the Pirelli range is known as "the ditchfinder" but I can't remember which it is.

The Kumho KH17's are superior is most departments, but are substantially better in the wet, the P6000's are truly quite awful in the wet, I've felt the rear start to go on my brothers car in the wet going round a roundabout at pretty low speeds.

So yeah, P6000's are a tyre to avoid in my opinion.

I have heard much the same. Ive got Kumho's on mine and Im SHOCKED how good they handle the road in the wet! I know the traction control kinda helps, but Ive tried to find the slip-out point and have given up :)

If you type both tyres into Google, the Pirelli's dont come out well with the review sites. The Kumho's do.
