We changed the Differential Pressure Sensor and seemed to fix some things.
As advised by the garage we disconnected the particulate filter and took it for a drive, it was definately disconnected because it was loud and we could hear whistling.
There wasn't anymore power than usual so we don't think that the particulate filter is blocked and we haven't had anymore errors at all on the car since the garage reset them for the second time and i would have thought that if it was really blocked it would have come on again by now.
It did come on briefly while i revved hard for a prolonged period in 3rd but went off again bit further down the road.
We are now going to go down the route of something wrong with the turbo system.
I gather that maybe if the diff. pressure sensor was faulty thats why it was throwing up the diesel filter blocked error by mistake.

you need to cheak all the pipes on and from the turbo.if presure is down then i am still surgesting its one of the solinoids from the turbo.i will tak a pic of mine so you no what to check,it could be just a blockage in one of the pipes.

Ok thanks.
Do you know of any diagrams that show the full turbo system? I've heard of people talking about all the pipes, some high pressure and some low pressure pipes and feeling the pipes for pressure in them etc. Just I don't know where to look.
Are you still able to come and have a look when you come up next weekend? I won't actually be able to meet on the Saturday at least until the afternoon as its my sons birthday party aover lunch time, but the Sunday will be fine or a night.

I've kinda of come to a conclusion of what to check.

I think it may be overboosting

Turbo vacuum pipes
Solenoids
EGR Valve
Pressure sensor on intercooler?
Fuel pressure sensor
Wastegate stuck?

What time roughly on Friday, because i could leave work early if that helps?

Just an update, still getting boost problems.
I've changed the MAF myself and theres no real difference.
I've had it at a diesel specialist today and he said the pipes on hte solenoids were really slack and he could easily pull them off. Hes changed the pipes so they are tight but didn't make a difference to performance. He thinks that the solenoids are possibly incorrect ones and someone changed them for incorrect part as a previous owner. He said even if they were not a Peugeot part they would still have the same solid fit. As we said that its intimitant with the turbo boost problem and that the car was fine when we first bought it he thinks these are actually probably fine.
He thinks that its more likely a possible a turbo sticking.
The other problem of the crankshaft sync error, hes changed the crankshaft sensor and made no difference, he said that the sensor isn't taking to the other and as my dual mass fly wheel is on its way out he thinks possibly changing the flywheel may fix this problem.
Hes not pressurising me into getting these fixed or even with his garage, so i don't think hes trying to pull a fast one.
One thing though regarding turbo, i don't have any black smoke or excessive oil consumption so doesn't this mean the turbo must be fine.
He did originally suggest i go to a scrap yard for some replacement/correct solenoids to try.
Does anyone know anything about vacuum testing the turbo system?
