1.6HDi 110 54 plate. After completing yet another regular oil change, I stood back admiring my work :) and realised that I had not removed the gauze filter that I kept promising myself that I must do at the next oil change.:(

Just a bit of advice please if someone could.

How do you access the banjo bolt? Do you have to access it from underneath or can you access it from the top?

What size torx is it? Got a few large ones just want to make sure that I've got the correct one before I start.

Does it have a crush washer like a brake pipe banjo and if so does it need a new one?

You have to remove the particle filter/catalytic converter to get at it.

Thanks davidireland,

I didn't think it would be that easy. I'll have to wait until next oil change and do it.

No doubt with the mileage it's more than likely due a DPF clean so I'll do it all at the same time.
