hi all,
Happy with my little purchase of a 308 2L diesel hatch, 2009 model, until I received the following codes:
P1351 - pre/post really circuit
P1447 - DPF clogged
P2562 - Turbo position repeat signal not enough turbo
P0299 - too low turbo pressure

and a bonus code:
P1607 - cruise/speed limiter fault

Hoping the turbo is not stuffed… and it is something less dramatic? I am a little bit handy and could do some basic checks if I know where to look. I have picked up a new DPF which I'll get a garage to fit ( don't have a hoist)
In your experience, where should I start please?
thanks
Lisa

You need to get it properly scanned with Diagbox, getting both codes AND live readings, particularly of the DPF and when it last regenerated. Also what the DPF fluid level is thought to be.

If the DPF is blocked, it will definitely destroy the turbo, so do this scanning ASAP.

Expected/actual boost levels must also be checked through the rev range. It may be low because the DPF is blocked or may be a leak etc. Live readings of pressures in the system and before/after DPF will tell you much more.

Cruise will probably recover if you sort out the other issues. It is often disabled with other running faults like listed in your fault codes.

Thanks WillNZ

Appreciate your advice on these issues WillNZ.
It’s booked in for Monday for Monday for the DPF swap so will get the workshop to do these tests.
Although not in limp mode, the engine light is on and the DPF clogging warning message on startup. It drives like a slug - not get up and go up hills and chugs black smoke under load. Feels more like a non turbo.
Trying not to drive it too much in the meantime. Fingers crossed the turbo’s not cactus.
Thanks again

You NEED to fix the reason for the DPF getting blocked

The low boost is caused in part by the DPF being blocked

The black smoke is BECAUSE there is no boost its all connected but there will be more than just swapping the DPF required to fix it.
