Hi some advice needed please

The rod thats under the turbo and connects to the turbo actuator (I think it's that , the round bit at the side with a small rubber pipe running up to the turbo ) hardly moves at any amount of revs

Should this move a lot or not ??

Thank you

Checked on my dads citreon and his moved as soon as soon as he started revving and moved more the more he revved , I'm guessing something is wrong with mine as it didn't move much at all

Does this suggest a problem with my turbo ??

Pretty sure it's a pressure-operated wastegate on that. You'll not be able to build enough boost while stationary to force the wastegate open.

If you want to be sure nothing is sticking, disconnect the hose and send 15-20 psi (but no more!) into the actuator. But full stroke is only likely to be a half-inch or less.
