I am trying to buy a new Tornado alloy 5.5J x 14" part 97151P but am told no longer available.

Does anyone out there know who I can contact to try. 2 local Peugeot dealers in Somerset unable to help.

Is there a specialist Peugeot company I could approach.

Have just bought 2 new alloys for Rover 75, 2001, no problems!!

Look forward to a reply and thanks in advance. Just joined today.:help:

They are still available, but they're not cheap at about £130+ VAT each. All mass manufacturers are lawfully obliged to provide all parts for every car sold for a minimum of 10 years after that car ceases production or is withdrawn from sale. Everything from a sump plug washer to a full bodyshell, though you may find certain rarely requested parts remain on back-order until there is sufficient demand to justify bringing a batch over. Try Dean Hunter spares (do a Google search). They hold huge stocks for discontinued model. PS - you won't get any spares for a Rover from Rover, simply because Rover ceased to exist 5 years ago, so wherever you got them wouldn't be Rover themselves.

Thank you Chopper 1192.

I have E mailed Dean Hunter Spares to see if they can provide a brand new wheel.

3 of the existing good, but 4th has been crunched.

Good to know a supplier & was interested to learn about the 10 yr supply. Neither of the 2 Peugeot dealers offerd any suggestions.

The Rover spares will be around for a while as acompany called Caterpillar produce. The 2 new alloys recently bought for my 75 put the 9 yr old car back to as new,

Once again many thanks for your help.

Tornado alloy wheel

Thanks to Steve M for the E Bay link.

As I was having no luck have decided to have the existing curbed alloy renovated for £60 and have booked for the work to be done.

Had an alloy on my MX5 done and you would not have known there had been a problem.

Surprised that a new Peugeot replacement could not be bought.

Thanks again.
