Hey guys, just a quick poll.

How high (or low, depending on unit) can you get the instant milleage?

In a good incline, i can easily make mine declare 30l/100km (9.5 mpg).

Does yours behave as such ?

P307 2003 RHS with 360kkm on clock:
I get fairly realistic figures - following my right foot :)

Acceleration might yield 12-15 L/100km (22-19mpg).
Normal pace flat road it goes 5-6 L/100km (55-45mpg)
I don't think I have seen above 20L/100km?

When comparing average over a full tank btw onboard computer figure
and manually calculated it's usually quite close.

Indeed, the average seems correct, betwen OBC and the tank.

I can easily push my car to 30L/100km (instant). I'm starting to believe that the car is air starved. I'm also using a 3rd party ebay MAF. Or maybe the DPF is going rogue, i have a intermitent fault with the downflow catalyst temp sensor, maybe it's prevent regens, i don't know.

I'm open to opinions :)

Instant mileage indication

I regularly see 28 l/100kms while driving in leadfoot mode on a decent grade. (more than 8%) or away from lights if on a grade which I have near my house.

Seems to chug along gracefully at 6l/100 on the highway. Cruise control is broken but if I put the speed limiter on at 100 km/hr, between 4 and 6 seems to be the go. Trips will give 8 l/100 and city usage gives between 10 and 11.

Yeah, i'm getting 8.2L/100 (average). I used to have 7.2. Weird... maybe it's maf, or dpf... or filters and oil... oh well.
