I bought my 307 a few weeks back, and there was no indication that the timing belt had ever been replaced. So, I'm erring on the side of caution and am going to get it changed, along with the tensioners, pulleys and water pump.

I've been quoted £250 - does this sound reasonable?

I'd love to be able to do it myself, but time and opportunity are hard to come by at the minute!

I would say that's not a bad quote,seeing it's including the parts.

done mine when I got it been told it had been done but had the original belt on
at 130000 miles . got it of ebay gates timing belt and water pump kit £75 local garage done it for £80

£80 for the labour is outstanding. I'd expect to pay at least £150.
