I have just bought a 5008 150 Diesel with 108000 miles on the clock I don't know if the timing belt has ever been changed.
1st when should it be changed?
2nd what is a typical cost?
3rd should I get the water pump changed at the same time?

I've been running them for years and always changed the belt at 120k miles. Always done the water pump at the same time for the sake of an extra 30 - 40 quid.
Peugeot says they should be changed at 160k miles or 5 years.

Cost will be variable depending where you take it. Main dealer will always be more expensive, in the region of £400.

A timing belt kit is available. This includes tension rollers and all that.

Cheers for that I had to take it to the main dealer as no garages were confident they could do it correctly and I am getting the water pump done at the same time. I had Peugeots for years as taxis and did the same then but didn't know if tech had changed

I think it is 10 years or 140 k miles in my book (2.0 HDI, 2011 MY)
