Hi guys, I'm new around here and I've searched the forum and the net, but I cannot find this info.

I'm replacing the dump valve on my Peugeot 508 1.6 THP 165hp and I cannot find the info on tightening torque required for the dump valve screws.

If any of you can help, it's much appreciated!

Big thanks!

Check the bolt, it will have a number on it, then check the number against the torque specification for the bolt. If does not have a number printed on the bolt head, then you should be able to find a general specification for bolt shaft diameter (not the head size).

The reason this part may not have specific specification is just needs to be tight enough for the 'yellow' o-ring seal and not to undo.

Hope you find this helpful.

If this is the front of the engine, yes, that is the one. (saying that because there is another similar valve on the rear of the engine)
