Can anyone give me an advice on this: As done many times before with other cars, I washed the engine of my 405 petrol and hosed it clean at the end. Not surprisingly, it coughed and spitted afterwards. Sounds like it's running on two or three cylinders. With previous cars, similar situations have been corrected by routinely drying the inside of the distributor cap. The 405, however, does not have the traditional distributor cap, and I am not able to find out what needs to be dryed to get the engine running properly again. Anyone with experience out there?
