My dads had a few problems with his 806, the latest now being its leaking diesel from the join where the high pressure regulator (on the right) joins the high pressure pump. We have taken the regulator off and cleaned it and put new seals and a gasket on but still leaking. He is a 70 year old retired mechanic who has spent a lot of time and effort and money on the car and has given up and given it to me to break, but instead i want to get it running as a surprise.

I am currently breaking a 1999 Citroen Synergie 2.0HDI and wondered if the high pressure fuel pump in that would fit straight onto my dads 2000 Peugeot 806 2.0HDI?

If so is it a hard job?

Thanks
