Hi guys, had a 407 for a while but now back to the 307, and less than one month after purchase the first problem (oh joy) haha

Ive got a 90bhp rapier on an 02 plate just under 50k miles, and what sounds like a flywheel problem but when i looked into it it appears the flywheel is solid and not the problematic DMF, is that correct on the 90bhp units?

its basically like a split second chirp every second or so when idling, and this chirp turns to a high pitched squeak when on biting point in 1st, once gear is engaged and from then on up the gears no sound at all, drives perfect and the clutch is nice and strong.

could it be anything else that you guys could think of? any form of belt or something lose perhaps?
