Strange Noise

Another issue I have found today. Sometimes not all the time when I first start the car I hear a strange buzzing noise from behind the Climate controls it lasts for 3 or 4 seconds and disappears anyone any idea what it is? I thought it might be a motor control for the climate which operates the flaps but the noise is right behind the climate panel a strange one all the same

Sounds like it might be the dashbaord vent motors coming to life. The heater box is right back there and it could be the big flaps opening.

My dash buzzes and whirrs for a few seconds after start up, then goes silent once everythings in position. If everythings working I wouldn't sweat it.

Thanks for that I have heard that some 407's suffer from Heater distribution problems with the Flap motors and Flaps themselves breaking and its a big dashboard strip out job to repair. When I was looking to buy a 407 I saw one which had this problem but kept clear of it
