Hi, I have just bought a K reg 405 estate, and the original radio has long disappeared, but I found the original plug for the stalk remote control, is it possible to get an adapter so that an after market head unit would work off the stalk?

Not sure if you can get aftermarket steering stalk adapter to fit it but certain car audio companies can build custom stalk modules to fit the car you want.
Ask some and see if they can do it for yours.

Thanks Tyger, seems like too much hassle, think I'll look for a stereo thats compatable with the Pug!

You could always buy a stereo that has a matching remote control available as an accessory?? Not the same as using the factory fit one but they are cheap and you can position it anywhere.
Plus, it will be gauranteed to work with ALL the functions of the stereo you have bought.
