Hi

I have some challenges with start-stop on my Peugeot 308 SW II 1.6 BlueHDI EAT6, I have changed the battery as start-stop no longer activate.

After the battery is replaced, the engine stops properly when it enters ECO-mode. But when the brake is released and the engine has to start, it just stands and “beeps”, and the light in the dashboard swings / flutters.

What am I into?

Does the car starts normaly with the key ? The start from 0 ?

What battery have you put on? Is it definitely suitable for start-stop systems? Did you follow the correct BSI shutdown procedure before changing the battery?

Yep, the car start normaly. It sounds like a loose belt

OK, so it's not one with the alternator start system I presume?
