Hello
I live in France & have just driven the length of GB & back in my 806. (54mpg)
I have one problem which is the ventilation fan now squeaks when I corner. It's like the fan shaft is moving on it's bearings or they need oiling!!
It is a lhd so the fan is on the right. Is it accessed through the glove box & how difficult is it to get at the fan?
Any help appreciated as it is an annoying the hell out of me.
Regards

Hello vic ,
well done on the mpg , shame about living in France thou.
If memory serves the fan bearings are -in brackets- 'sealed for life' , so they dont need lubricating(apparantly) , but a blob or 2 of 3in1 always helped i found-(lift the shaft if poss and wiggle it up +down with the oil in situ)
Theres a thread from a few weeks ago about the 'canister' in the corner behind the fusebox - once the glove box is out the way it should take about 30mins to get to it propperly and openly(doing it myself this weekend) as i have the same problem- most annoying i agree.

Hope this helps.
