Did a quick search, all the squeaking noises on other posts dont describe the one I got, so ive got either a rare problem or a common sense one. Either way I wouldn't mind a few pointers

So basically...

When I reverse steadily or drive in 1st from stationery, there's a squeaking noise when the clutch is lifted at the point of engagement with the engine. The squeaking goes on until its fully engaged and going faster.

Is it a belt thing?

if you mean a sharp kinda squeek, i had this in 1st and 2nd only any faster and nothing...never found out what it was.

Nah, starts upon engagement and continues until I pick up speed. I've heard a few cars doing it but its annoying

It's a constant squeak until I pick up speed and then it goes.

not too sure, but for some reason i keep imagining the alternator surge squeel, i have had experiance of this squeeling when i first start driving get to around 20-30mph and it goes, only happened once or twice but thats a constant squeel....

im more than likely no help, but an idea is an idea :lol:

Hmm the only way i can describe it is that it sounds like some loose squeaky wheels
