Hello All,
Have just got my 307 (2006) and when checking oil level today I noticed a bit of 5mm(ish) clear tubing resting on the top of the plastic underbody. The end wasn't connected to anything. I traced it back to a small square black box with Mann Filter written in it, this box was located just below the brake fluid reservoir to the right of the engine. Can anyone help with what this filter is and what this tube is meant to connect to? Panicking quite a bit here.

Thanks in advance.

If it's a diesel it could be the water drain hose from the fuel filter housing.

Thanks Mr Lee.
It is a diesel yes, the tube just passes out from the back bottom corner of the box and trails to the "floor". Is this normal then? It is meant to not connect to anything at one end? It's for draining water?

Mr Lee this is not my image but it's the same item, and the pipe is the same colour thickness and in the same place, is this what you refer too? If so, is it ok for it not to be connected at the other end? That's what it's meant to be like? unnamed.jpg
