Hi all, ive just bought a 306 convertible but its lacking a spare wheel and dont want to be caught short!. Can i buy any wheel of the right dimensions with a tyre or does it have to be specific to this model? Thanks in advance:)

A wheel from any model of 306 will fit,I would not recommend a non Peugeot wheel.Any scrapper should have one.
If your convertible has ally wheels and you find a steel wheel make sure you keep 4 bolts for that wheel in the glove box.
Peugeot ally wheel bolts are different to steel wheel bolts.

I agree any peugeot or citroen 4 stud wheel will do but make sure its 14 inch or bigger as smaller wheels wont clear front brakes i have a 15 inch spare in my cabriolet.

The normal sleeved and washer alloy wheel bolts can be used with a steel wheel

The sleeve is chamfered to fit steel wheels, but they do look silly as they standoff from wheel this is to allow for a steel spare on alloy wheeled cars

You cannot use steel wheel bolts on alloys

Thanks for the replies. I literally just need to get a wheel to get me home in case of a close encounter with a nail:eek:
