So i have read a few posts on here regarding the ecu swap and mating bsi ect but no ones story i have come across has quite matched mine im at my whits end...

So 2003 307 HDI 90 EDC15C2
Car is sat stage 2 ready and had an old 306 stage 2 map file from hdi tuning ltd for my 306.... not worried about the consequences i went ahead and read and save original file and wrote the stage 2 file to the 307. Car started and ran fine. Pulled like train and went like a stabbed rat!!
However no lights, windows, rev counter, speedo, indicators ... nothing worked other that the engine... so put this down to the file bing for a 306 and not 307. I began re reading file prior to uploading the standard one back on and on 73% it said error.. obvious burned out the ecu. I had no lift pump and no EML ON DISPLAY, couldn't communicate with ecu with PC or OBD reader.

I found an ecu specialist local who thought he could fix it but on return of my ecu it did not start the car but did give me EML but the code on ecu now is P0603.

I tried another EDC15C2 demobilised ecu which did not start the car..

Now my next move... i have found an ecu/bsi/key set on ebay and the bosch (0281010935) number is the same (EDc15C2 45) is the same but the 10 digit number under that is different so presume that is not going to be plug and play....

There is one ecu on ebay that ALL the numbers from mine match with 100% they want 150£ its demobilised so it should plug and play however i am worried that then my bsi is broken now as most of electrics have stopped working.. at the moment.

I have a 206hdi bsi and ecu set there it is an edc15c2 but all other numbers are different. When plugged in the windows and lights work but no clock lights or warning lights at all it will crank over but no lift pump.

What are my options HDI LTD want £180 for a demobilised remapped ecu i know pro steves work is good and i have spoken to him and tuned hdi with him before i just cant justify £180 on an ecu when the car was £200 and its in very good condition to good to scrap
Thanks in advance to any one that can advise on my next steps i will attach pic of my ecu

This is the 206 one i have

This is hdi tuning ecu... not the 10digit number under EDC15C2 still doesnt match mine

This is the full set i found on ebay but again same as hdi tuning the 10 digit doesnt match but the rest does

Im lost

So with your original set what works and what does not

When swapping sets you need to match everything

On the car right now, ignition comes on but does not start. Code p0603... no lights, or electric windows work

if you send me the ecu and the file you have i can remove the chip and write the file to it direct and see of that works

no lights windows ect could be eco mode, if its eco mode it will come out of that once started

Hi yes it did say eco mode on display before all went off. Do you need the original file or can you write my stage 2 file on. When the car was running on the stage 2 file the car ran great went like a rocket but the lights didnt work or windows, speedo, revcounter, blowers, or display for blowers. I do need car going tho so your advice and help is greatly appreciated

Thats fine i do have my original file on my laptop

The original file is saved as (.file)
But the remapped file is saved as (.BIN)

Does this make a difference?
