hi everyone i need some help with my 307 hdi 2.0 it appears to be leaking

from a solenoid looking device between the charge air pipe and the turbo

i would like some help identifying this part and what is causing it thanks

for your time

ive put a red circle around the suspect part

I think that's the turbo boost pressure sensor. The oil which may be present is from the crankcase breather which exits via the air intake.

help please!!!

hi thanks for your reply , ive got a replacement butterfly valve

but im worried that that might not be the source of the problem

ive got another picture here from another member with a similar problem

this picture replicates exactly what is happening with my engine if anyone

knows what is happening it would be a big help the car only has 59k on the clock

and no engine lights , all i noticed is that its rough on start up and shutting off feels like it wants to stall , also when sitting in traffic it can vibrate quite a bit hope its not the EGR as they are a ***** on
the 2.0HDI

The unit is the doser valve (anti shudder and if DPF fitted used to divert air from intercooler). They often leak due to the oil mist in the inlet air from engine breather. You can check seal against manifold and at hose joint but they often weep on higher mileage unit due to slight wear in spindle
