Has anyone had a problem with the current update?
Version: 44.02.12.52_NAC-r0 27/04/2022
Have tried it through the Peugeot Update 3 times today and it only gets to less than 1gb of the 5.84gb file.
Have left it for some hours, thinking it will complete but nothing - Have successfully updated both the Firmware and the Nav on my 5008 GT Premium 2021 previously with no issues.
Please let me know if there is anything wrong. Would appreciate any help or advice.

 

A few (including myself) were only able to download it over or mobile phone internet connection.

I tried twice over my 1gb fibre but it failed both times. Got the update in less than 30min through my mobile phone...

 

Maybe one day Peugeot will catch up with Toyota / Lexus new Smart Connect multimedia system & automatically update the firmware over the air plus offer live up to date mapping data both over the built in vehicle data connection.

 

The new infotainment system IVI, used in the Peugeot 308 III (P5), Opel/Vauxhall Astra L, Citroën C5 X (E43), etc, does the updates OTA.

 

Just did on pc, 90 mins to download, format usb, unpack and transfer to usb quickest it`s ever been

 

I have hosted the latest firmware for the Wave4 on my Google drive for you guys and gals since the download was slow as molasses

I also have problem downloading this Wave4 update, only downloads around 550mb then stops. Haven't had any problem downloading Peugeot updates previously but this one seems impossible. Does any member who has successfully downloaded this Touch Screen Update TAR file in a position to share it ?

This is the second one they remove in the space of few weeks. Thank god I'm not in a rush everytime they release one lol

Removed from Google Drive, glad I didnt get to install it yet just in case.

This would be another reason I dont normally host firmware maybe someone of a higher power above is trying to tell me stick to map updates they dont get recalled ... Normally.

Think i'll leave out firmware updates from the google drive.

 

The problem with those updates is that you can't downgrade them - this would be enough to "correct" the current problem. There's also a slight chance of bricking the system with a failure update. Worst case scenario for map updates is an empty screen on the 3rd toggle switch - but you can install any map again, including previous versions.

 

is there any newest version of firmware to 3008 -2019 ? on peugeot update I can see only newest maps to navi.

Got my new 3008 on 30-Apr-22 ...

MyPeugeot app told me to download 44.02.16.52 ... Tried but failed to download !!
then MyPeugeot app told me to download 42.03.33.42 but then failed to download !!
Then today MyPeugoet app told me to download 44.02.16.52 !!

Reading the posts I think I need to wait to get the all clear from you guys

 

Hi, location in Norway. Running 2018 1.6 l 165 HP 3008 Gt Line. It's one thing I wonder if the update should have been done at Peugeot's dealer's workshop and not something we who have bought a product = a car for which they do not take responsibility. But maybe they should have paid well to update ?? Bare thoughts I have. Regards BobKåre

Today I had a message to install: Touch Screen (44.02.16.52_NAC-r0)
It took a few hours to download and this time it was successful and it has been copied onto my USB.
Before I try and update the car, I know some have said DO NOT UPDATE - Is this still the case and what would be the results?
Appreciate any help.

 

Yes, 44.02.16.52_NAC-r0 is available again and it's the latest firmware version for NAC Wave 4. It's exactly the same file as before, so you don't need to download again.

Now if you should install it, that's another story...

• If you have installed the previous version (and now withdrawn) 44.02.13.12_NAC-r0, yes, you should install the 44.02.16.52_NAC-r0;
• If you have an older 42...*, you won't see anything new with this version and shouldn't upgrade. At least you should wait a couple days before installing it.

J'ai téléchargé le firmware 44.02.16.52_NAC-r0 samedi via l'application Peugeot Update (40 mn y compris formatage et copie sur support USB). Installé ce dimanche sur mon Peugeot 2008 GT Line 2021 (45 mn environ, à l'arrêt, moteur tournant). "Firmware update successfull". Tout fonctionne correctement.

I downloaded the 44.02.16.52_NAC-r0 firmware on Saturday via the Peugeot Update application (40 mins including formatting and copying to USB media). Installed this Sunday on my Peugeot 3008 GT Line 2021 (about 45 minutes, stationary, engine running). "Firmware update successful". Everything is working properly

I always wait about a month to update unless the car is threatening WW3 - glad i did. Has anyone ever found what is actually updated each time?

 

No there usually is no Log of changes
