As per title, gave the car it's first wash today and checked under the bonnet.

Found the Bonnet stay clip broke off and then that was attached with a cable tie to the bonnet insulation!
An amazing 19p later from the local dealer and I fixed it. Some people are so bastard lazy!

Anyway just wondering about the pic, it looks like the air intake but shouldn't it be attached? I did try and move it but seemed pretty fixed.

Cheers

Oh and £140 for a engine under-tray from dealership!
Got quoted £250 for a full service, all filters etc.

Thanks lads, damn I thought I might of got extra go in her if it was connected :p

Just priced up some service stuff on Eurocar parts as it's 25% off at moment

Air filter
Fuel filter
Pollen filter
Oil filter

Total £69.90 but with discount £52.41.

Not too bad I suppose, however that excludes the oil and sump plug!

So when you add that on looking best part of £100, or I could get the dealer to do for £250 (main dealer), but that would include a brake fluid change too. Independent probably looking at around £150?

They were also trying to flog me a service thing for £19.99 a month which includes 2 services, break fluid and Air con re charge

Oh, I'm rambling now!
