What type / colour of antifreeze should we be putting in the 307 HDi 90 engines?
Im having my cambelt / water pump changed on Saturday and will need to top up and renew fluids. Is it Blue Green or Pink?

All anti-freeze coolants are based on a chemical called ethylene glycol and mostly colourless, the colour comes from the dye in the corrosion inhibitors, different manufactures use differnet inhibitors.
Traditional coolants use silicates for corrosion prevention while many newer vehicles use a new class of organic based inhibitors with an extended service life. GM calls this coolant Dex-Cool but it is sold under other brand names and VW/Audi has its own unique formulation called G12. Many of these can not be mixed .
