As above going to service it, oil, filters etc. 2006 1.6HDI 90bhp

One question, what type drain plug socket is required?

Is the fuel filter a nightmare to do, or any handy tips on this?

Oh and how do you reset the service indicator?

Cheers for that, just changed the fuel filter which was a bit of a pain, but now i've done it , will be easier in future.

Not done oil change as i haven't managed to get a trolly jack, will do it at work.

Reset was easy, thanks for the info.

Car started up ok after battery had been out for fuel filter change, primed fuel system for a bit by hand (not easy due to hand pump location) but the car started first time, let it idle for a while, been out for a run and all seems well. No leaks etc.

Finished service today with an oil change, only pain in the butt was the undertray which took most of the time. Is this item "really" necessary to keep on?

Also noticed under engine was oily around sump area but nowhere really specific, also had no issues regards oil levels over a year either. Checked all sump bolts which were all ok, only thought is the pipe next to the sump (plastic pipe that joins onto a rubber pipe and goes up into rear of engine) has a fair bit of oil on possible leak from join? What is that pipe?

Pipe located lower engine next to sump/sump plug end.
