Is there a method for an owner to switch off the service light indicator?

My husband is a competant mechanic & can do the necessary when it comes to servicing the car, but the service light remains on.

I was just wondering if there is a trick with the ignition key like there is with the volvo?

cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum :thumb:
Try turning the key to the first notch in the ignition and then press the button you zero the trip meter with.

Tried that solution yesterday, unfortunately no joy. Tried the key in all positions but the spanner still remains.

Anyone any other suggestions?

~ Switch of the Ignition.

~ De-Press and hold the mileage reset button on the instrument binnacle.

~ switch the ignition to 'ON'

~ De-Press button for 10 seconds

~ the display will display a '0' service indicator will go out
