Hi all...
Just about to look deeper into my 406 aux belt function,
I replaced the belt 5k ago but not the tensioner / deflection pulley.
As those of you who have done this job will know, the smaller pulleys (tensioner and deflection) are prone to wear and possible collapse (with disasterous consequences). Yes...I should have done them at the time!

Looking at available parts and prices, my questions are ...
Is it worth using "fleabay" pattern parts or have forum users experienced any problems??
Is it worth saving cash by replacing the pulley only on the tensioner...and does the torx bolt undo easily enough??
What lessons have we learned ...top tips??
