My beloved 207 1.6 HDI has developed some sort of a problem that i hope you guys would help me pin point.
I've noticed it a few days ago, when accelerating theres loss of power for a split second, and a then it kicks back in. Today it started rough idling when sat at lights. I could feel the engine sort of jump. Excuse my words, not sure how to describe this any better.

Any ideas what this could be, or how to diagnose it? no errors pop up on display (apart from depollution fault due to blocked off egr).
If theres no errors would pp2000 or diagbox shed some light on it?

Has it been serviced recently? It could be as simple as not getting enough fuel or air. Getting the codes read would also be a good place to start. Something as simple as the torque app for android and a Bluetooth obd reader from Amazon can be a good place to start. Nowhere near a proper diagnostic but I've found it to be invaluable. Free app and the readers are cheap as chips.

not recently, no. due another service in 3000 miles. over the summer its only been used occasionally - like once or twice every two weeks. would that affect it? I have pp2000, just not sure where it is atm as just moved and living inbetween boxes. Ill give that a go once i find it!

Hmmm, could be a bit of air in the system if it's been sitting I suppose. Maybe try to pump the primer under the bonnet before your next run in it? Not sure on the exact location of it but usually on or just before the fuel filter.

the problem seems to have gone away since i put a full tank of fuel in and cleared all the error codes with pp2000. Not sure which one did it haha.
