I'm 6' 4" tall and with the 3008 being so high, I struggle to wipe the whole roof when chamoisi it.

How does everyone else reach theirs to clean it?

Same height as you Beau....with difficulty is the answer, and I can just about reach the centre of the roof from each side to dry it, but it is a stretch.

I'm 5' 8" so it'll be even more of a struggle for me. I have a hop up step which I'll use to get the extra height. It's identical to this one - Work Platform Aluminium 900mm | Step Ups | Screwfix.com

Upturned milk crate is what builders used to use to work on out of reach surfaces. Seen plenty in my day but haven't a clue where they got them from.

Yeah we have just had our house rendered and the guy doing it was using a beer crate a lot. I'm sure if you get down your local off license you'll be able to find one as most of the imported bottle beers will be crated.

Did use an aluminum ladder when cleaning mine for the first time.

I wouldn't recommend using chamois to clean the car - a good waffle towel is more gentle:

If she complained about the roof you are implying (I think) then I'll just tell her to clean her own lower parts!

it's actually her 3008 and I get the envious job of cleaning it, checking the oil and water stuff. She came in the other day telling me the washers didn't work. Guess what? needed a refill!

when local council replaced plastic box for glass and plastic bottles and cans
for a wheelie bin found good use for box I am 5.10
And if you think 3008 is high I had 14 reg rav4 with roof bars

Gave mine its first wash today, thankfully I can do the roof without elevation aids. I'm 6' 2".
