My car is a - 208 GT Premium Electric 50 kWh 136 regd in 2022.
Since doing a software update via a USB stick, my reversing beeper stopped working. I went thru all of the screen settings, the car icon, profiles, radio sound, satnav settings - nothing worked. I was tempted to disconnect the 12v battery to try and reset it but chickened out. I've scoured the manuals, online help etc to no avail.
But I was just playing around with all of the settings and I found the answer. When I select reverse the rear camera view comes up and to the right is a segment with a graphic of the rear sensor status. I notice that there is a speaker icon in this area on the right. If you tap the icon a volume slider bar appears at the top of the screen! Just slide the bar to the right, say the maximum, and hey presto the beeper works again. Mine was set at the minimum/off.
I've pinched the screenshot from a Peugeot 2008 but the layout is similar. See the speaker icon next to the red arrow.............
Hope this may help you..................
