New 3008 comes with 180 degree or 360 degree camera setup. However, 360 setup has only 2 cameras instead of 4 like other manufacturers. How good is the camera view. Of course the it is low quality VGA like output.

I didn't have a chance to test at night. How clear the pictures at night in total darkness. Does the Rearview camera produce clear image at night???

I find the rear view camera fine at night. Even so I fancied upgrading to LED reverse bulbs to match the licence plate ones I've already got. I haven't fitted them yet as I'm waiting until my LED indicator bulbs arrive as I want to avoid having to take the rear light cluster off twice!

You may of already said in another thread, what bulbs did you get and where from. Links to the bulbs would be handy I might get some.

Thanks

The rear camera is actually not bad and sensitive enough to trust reversing at night in the dark. I have a single reversing camera.

I do astrophotography - the camera in the dark is always a trade off between sensitivity, gain (noise), light levels, pixel size and well depth (prevents saturation). I've also written realtime FFT-base image registration and processing algorithms.
Being colour and requiring a rapid refresh for video use - it's preferable that it's bright and fast refresh than high detail.

It works in dark situations at night and in dark spots. It also funny to see when someone walks behind (like reversing into a space where there is a walk way next to it). Also the image stitching is good considering it's realtime and dark.
