my 307 broke down last night, cam belt went.
sat there waiting for the AA to arrive with both front windows open, until it got a bit chillier and I wanted to close the windows. Couldn't close them cause the car went in economy mode and only comes out of there when started (and with the cam belt snapped that isn't gonna happen).

does any of you know how to close my windows/reset economy mode???
the windows have been taped up with bin liners over night, but I rather have them closed sooner rather then later.

maybe take the doorcards off and get power direct to each motor, not an easy way but if its gonna be awhile before its sorted might be an option.

Our 307 and 407 raise the windows when you hold the lock button on the remote.
It works in economy mode on the 407, can't see why it wouldn't on the 307.

Disconnect battery and reconnect.

But follow the correct procedure which is on here somewhere.

On the 307 I think you have to press to lock the car then press and hold the lock button again to raise the windows.

Yes it was, cos it'll take it out of economy mode and should be able to test windows and put them up
